Ikea is a prime example of a business that can keep up with times. While the Swedish firm is generally known for its minimalist flatpack furniture, it is also a company that sells smart lighting (in addition to regular lights), wireless charging pads and now, Bluetooth speakers. It seems like even makers of high performance audio like Polk Audio cannot resist the draw of Alexa and hence, the existence of the Command Bar, an Alexa-enabled sound bar, or as Polk Audio described it, “the home theater sound bar system with Amazon Alexa Built-in.” First unveiled at the CES 2018 earlier this year, this Polk Audio voice-controlled sound bar, which is also the first sound bar to sport Alexa voice assistant, is now available for pre-order for a surprisingly modest, not-so-bank-breaking sticker of $300 (or $299.95, to be precise). HTC Vive Pro VR Headset Is Now Open Pre-order, Priced At $799

I wonder how much VR headset is reaping in for companies who make them. I mean, unlike gadgets like say, headphones, you know the market is out there, but a VR headset seems more like a luxury than necessity. What I am trying say, the traction isn’t there compared to staple gadgets. Anyways, it appears that HTC is firm believer that VR is the future, or rather, it is the company’s future. Back at this year’s CES in January, the Taiwanese handset maker unveiled a Pro version of its Vive VR headset, which it called HTC Vive Pro HMD. LG Brings ThinQ Artificial Intelligence To Its 2018 Super UHD TV Lineup

The hottest, non-visible thing in 2018 will be artificial intelligence. Not only this potential sci-fi nightmare technology has made its way to smartphone, it now will make its presence felt in TVs too – all thanks to LG. LG has just announced the company’s 2018 TV lineup which will comes with ThinQ artificial intelligence technology out-of-the-box. Select models will even have LG’s advanced α (Alpha) processor which LG hope they (the TVs) will help it “solidify its position in the global market for premium TVs.” All told, LG has unveiled ten new AI-enabled OLED TV models for 2018 at a launch event in Seoul, South Korea on March 5, 2018.
