Lexon x Jeff Koons Balloon Dog Speaker and Balloon Dog Lamp

You may not know the name Jeff Koons, but I’m pretty sure you’ve seen his Balloon Dog sculpture. It’s right up there with Robert Indiana’s LOVE and Jason Freeny’s dissected figures in terms of pop culture saturation. But unlike those, Koons’ Balloon Dog is taking a leap from gallery darling to functional art—thanks to a collab with Lexon Design. Folks, meet the Lexon x Jeff Koons Balloon Dog Speaker and Balloon Dog Lamp.

Made in partnership with The Broad museum in LA, both pieces turn Koons’ shiny pup into home tech. The speaker is loaded with six drivers and four passive radiators for rich 360-degree audio, plus Bluetooth 5.0 and support for stereo pairing. There’s even a mic for hands-free calls—because it ain’t a BT speaker if it does not do that.

The lamp, on the other hand, uses nearly 400 LEDs to deliver up to 200 lumens of multi-color illumination. You can sync as many Balloon Dog Lamps as you like, which sounds just chaotic enough to be fun.

Each piece is limited, engraved with Jeff Koons’ signature, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Pre-orders open June 17, 2025, exclusively at lexon-design.com, with shipping slated for October. Expect to part with US$750 (or €750) for either the speaker or the lamp.
