Anyhoo, Pro-Ject is celebrating the comic strip’s 75th anniversary with a limited special edition turntable, aptly called—well—the Peanuts Turntable.
The Pro-Ject Peanuts Turntable features a glossy black plinth with music-related comic snippets and a special Charlie Brown acrylic record plate to boost the Peanuts presence when it isn’t spinning any vinyl. Though not as wild as the Metallica or Beatles editions, it’s a striking turntable that deserves a spot in any Peanuts devotee’s home.
Peanuts treatment aside, this is still a serious audiophile entry-level turntable based on the brand’s T1 BT model, delivering true hi-fi sound without breaking the bank (well, not the entire bank!). It boasts premium materials, a belt-drive system, two speeds (33, 45), a built-in phono stage, a BT transmitter for wireless streaming to your Bluetooth-enabled speakers, an 8.6” aluminum tonearm, and a heavy zero-resonance glass platter paired with a specially designed sub-platter for perfect speed stability—all topped off with a pre-adjusted Ortofon OM 10 cartridge.
