You thought vinyl records were boring black plastic with grooves? They’re not. They come in eye-catching colors and graphics. Some even have liquid inside that gives them life, and some are even animated. You heard that right. Animated records are a thing, and artist Drew Tetz is a specialist in this field.
Recently, Drew worked his magic on Burberry’s signature Nova check print. When not spinning, the record appears to be a wavy version of the iconic print—but when it starts spinning, it comes to life, making “waves” as it turns. It’s absolutely mesmerizing. The record features just one track: the Burberry Festival anthem, the 1990s classic ‘Sweet Harmony’ by Liquid.
