Turquoise Tank, Camel Seat: Meet Deus Ex Machina’s Blucita Rivale 800

Deus Ex Machina MV Agusta Rivale 800 Bike

Remember the custom motorcycle shop with a name that sounds straight out of Cyberpunk 2077, Deus Ex Machina? Australia’s very own maestro of custom bikes has since spread its gospel to Bali, Japan, LA, Milan, and more. And from Deus Japan comes this latest rolling artwork: the Deus Ex Machina MV Agusta Rivale 800, nicknamed Blucita.

As the name hints, Blucita starts life as an Italian MV Agusta Rivale 800, a bike already famed for its aggressive styling and triple-cylinder bite. Lead builder Tomoyuki Soeda didn’t just slap on paint and call it a day—this is a shared creation project, done in collaboration with the owner, which means every line and detail had a personal touch.

You probably already noticed the standout of this bike: A turquoise fuel tank paired with a camel-brown leather seat that screams vintage Euro flair, balanced by a retro round headlight that gives it an almost café racer attitude. Underneath the eye candy, the chassis has been tuned for a lower center of gravity, pulling every ounce of character from that glorious three-cylinder engine.

This one-off machine isn’t for sale [JP], unfortunately. It was showcased at Deus’s Harajuku flagship until the end of August. Consider it a collector’s fever dream: equal parts motorcycle, sculpture, and bragging rights.

As for the price… private builds like this don’t come with a sticker—you bring cash, taste, and probably a second passport.
