There is a snow fest happening in Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. The 73rd Sapporo Snow Festival is happening at STV Plaza Satellite Venue in Mitsui Outlet Park Sapporo Kitahiroshima.
During the snow fest (February 04-11, 2023), children can have fun at the snow playground, and visitors can treat themselves to local food and beverages. There is also a unique photo opportunity for fans of Kamen Rider too.
As part of the promotion for the upcoming Shin Kamen Rider film, a snow sculpture of the iconic masked superhero, measuring 1.8 m by 1.8m (5.9 by 5.9 feet), was created on February 04 and available for viewing until February 11, 2023.
The 73rd Sapporo Snow Festival opens daily from 1000 hours to 1700 hours. As always, opening days and hours are subject to change, so it is always wise to make checks that the event is open before heading out.
The Shin Kamen Rider is expected to hit theaters in Japan in March 2023. The exact date is not offered.
