Honda has finally produced a Civic Type R that most people can afford. Unfortunately, you cannot drive it, and unless your feet are unusually tiny, you cannot wear it either.
Folks, meet the Syunsoku × Honda Civic Type R Collaboration Shoe, a children’s sneaker created by Japanese footwear company Achilles for young speed enthusiasts who take playground cornering very seriously.
Based on the Syunsoku Ultima Cheetah, the shoe features rubber wrapping around the toe and arch-side area for extra grip when attacking corners. An asymmetrical outsole and Inner Flex System support forward propulsion, presumably without turbo lag, torque steer, or stern calls from the school principal.
Naturally, it comes finished in Championship White. The toe bears a Type R logo, while the heel receives the model’s famous red emblem, adding at least five playground horsepower. Red stitching inspired by the car’s interior completes the transformation, and each pair arrives inside a special box printed with a Championship White Civic Type R.
Sizes run from 16 to 23 cm, including half sizes, leaving adult Honda enthusiasts completely out of the race.
The Syunsoku × Honda Civic Type R Shoes command 6,490 yen [JP], or roughly US$41. Preorders are open now, with general sales beginning October 6, 2026. It is also available in Racing Blue Pearl and Frame Red.
