I am sure you are familiar with LEGO Storage Brick Drawer. And I am also sure you have heard of IKEA x LEGO BYGGLEK. Well, the storage you see here is yet another LEGO storage solution but one that is very un-LEGO because it is made of wood.
Being made of wood, the LEGO Wooden Desk Drawer, as it is called, is kind of a homage to the LEGO’s origin. Available in 8 and 4 studs variety, each LEGO brick-style drawer is made of FSC-certified oak and like the plastic toy bricks from the Danish toymaker, it can be stacked together with other drawers.
And since it is in wood, it’d make your room more classy. There’s a catch though: it’s tiny. The 8 stud model measures just over 4.5 inches (12 cm) high, 6 inches (16 wide), and 5 inches (15 cm) deep.
Meanwhile, the 4 stud version measures just 11 cm high, 16 cm wide, and 15 cm deep (4 x 6 x 5 inches). Wait a minute. I’m pretty sure LEGO got the measurements wrong. Or maybe it was me who interpreted the numbers wrongly.
Anywho… these tiny drawers are meant to be desktop drawers for small objects like LEGO bricks, toys, and whatnot.
Both Wooden Desk Drawer 8 and Wooden Desk Drawer 4, which costs US$199.99 and US$129.99, respectively, are sold out anyways.
