Nike self-lacing shoe has made it to basketball shoes last year and today, its on its second generation. Called Nike Adapt BB 2.0, it was worn by Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant and it is now available for your taking. But you may want to hold out buying this $400-a-pair high-tech kicks. Key features of the Nike Adapt BB 2.0 includes Air Zoom Turbo at forefoot for added bounce, reconfigured midsole stack height for improved transition from heel to toe while moving, a redesigned shroud to making putting on the shoe easier, and visually, it is rocking a larger Swoosh branding.
As before, the shoe is app-enabled, connecting to your phone via Bluetooth. The app allows for customization and updates when available.
Needless to say, the shoes will need to be charged and as with the previous Adapt, charging is via the wireless mat.
Last checked, the Nike Adapt BB 2.0 Self-lacing Basketball Shoes did not fly off the shelves. It is still available on Nike.com for 400 bucks.
Like I have said, you may want to hold buying it because, there’s a Chicago Gamer Exclusive coming your way. The Nike Adapt BB 2.0 Chicago Gamer Exclusive comes in a predominately red colorway and as the name implies, it is a Gamer Exclusive featured virtually inside NBA 2K20 video game.
It will be “unlock for physical purchase within the game in the coming weeks.” So, if you want a pair the Nike Adapt BB 2.0 Chicago Gamer Exclusive and you do no have a copy of the game yet, you may want to consider picking a copy ($24.99-42.87, depending on platform and edition).
The pricing and quantity available for the Game Exclusive self-lacing basketball shoe are not known.
