We don’t often write about someone’s passing, but this one hits close to home. With a heavy heart, we share the news that Peter Cullen, the legendary voice of Optimus Prime, has died at the age of 85.
For those of us who grew up with Transformers, his voice was part of our childhood. He gave a fictional robot warmth, strength, and a presence that stayed with us long after we stopped being children.
Thank you for the memories, Mr. Cullen. Rest in peace.
