Porsche 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche Honors the Man Behind the 911 With a 90-Unit Collector’s Car

Porsche 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche in F. A. Greenmetallic with Sport Classic wheels

Ferdinand Alexander Porsche turning 90 calls for something special. Not a cake. Not a plaque. Porsche went straight for the obvious answer: a 911 GT3, tuned to honor the man who believed good design should explain itself without shouting.

Meet the Porsche 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche, a collector’s car that celebrates the visionary designer’s legacy with restraint, detail, and just the right amount of flex. Only 90 units will be built by Porsche Sonderwunsch, and one of them already belongs to his son, Mark Porsche. That alone tells you this is not some slapped-on anniversary badge job.

The car is based on the 911 GT3 Touring Package, which is the grown-up GT3. No fixed wing, just an extendable rear spoiler and a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six producing 375 kW (510 PS) and 450 Nm of torque. It is the kind of powertrain that exists purely for people who still believe engines should rev freely and make noise for a reason.

Visually, the car pulls inspiration from a G-Series 911 F. A. Porsche drove in the 1980s. The exclusive F. A. Greenmetallic paint is a modern take on Oak Green Metallic and debuts a new Paint to Sample Plus label on the A-pillar. It rides on Sport Classic wheels finished in satin-gloss black, nodding to classic Fuchs rims, complete with central locking and historic crests. There is also a gold-plated “90 F. A. Porsche” badge on the front grille, subtle enough to feel earned.

Inside is where things get personal. The seat centers use F. A. Grid-Weave fabric, inspired by the pattern of F. A. Porsche’s favorite jackets. The cabin mixes Truffle Brown Club Leather with Chalk Beige stitching, open-pore walnut plywood for the gear knob, and plaques bearing his signature and the words “One of 90.” Even the Sport Chrono clock references the original Chronograph I created for him.

Buyers also receive a matching Porsche Design Chronograph 1, a Truffle Brown leather weekender bag, and yes, Porsche even revived the Porsche Junior sled in carbon fiber, limited to 90 units and finished in the same green. Overkill. Tasteful overkill.

Orders open in April 2026, with production starting in the second half of the year.

Price starts from US$387,000.
