2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Race Car

Supercar, also known as exotic car, is high-performance car with an, well, exotic (read: kind of out-of-this-world look). The new 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 does not have that kind of look, but it does the high-performance and the classic look of the Porsche 911 everyone has come to know and love. Perhaps, even more importantly for petrol heads, it is the result of a close collaboration with the marque’s motorsport division.

Power is derived by a naturally-aspirated 4.0L six-cylinder boxer engine based on the revered 911 GT3 R that develops a very desirable 503 horsepower. The power is put to good use through a 6-speed manual gearbox that enables it to rocket from naught to 1000 (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and sending it on its way to a top speed of 320 km/h, or 318 km/h with PDK).

This bred-for-track car further boasts double wishbone front axle layout, sophisticated aerodynamics with swan neck rear wing and striking diffuser originate from the GT race car 911 RSR, carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) hood, lightweight glass windows, optimized brake discs, forged light-alloy wheels, light weight sports exhaust system, infinitely electrically adjustable exhaust flaps, and a high-tech racing cockpit outfitted with a track screen that, at the touch of a button, reduces the digital displays with essential parameters to the left and right of the central rev counter.
