The Head Of Char’s Z’Gok Is Now The Cover Of A Traditional Japanese Hot Pot

MSM-07S Z’Gok Commander Type Hot Pot

Mobile Suit Gundam has lent itself to many merchandises other than gunpla kits and action figures. If I can recall, it was the Mobile Suit that has gotten most of the spotlights. Like, you know, as a super cool storage box for glasses and or as delectable tofu.

Otherwise, it would be Zaku getting the spotlights. Hardly any love for Z’Gok. But this time, the (dining) table has turned, for it is Z’Gok, specifically the red MSM-07S Commander Type, that has gotten its own exclusive merchandise.

Exclusive because Z’Gok’s head and the hot pot is a match made in heaven. It is not an overstatement that it is a match made in heaven because even the duct found of the Z’Gok is functional as the air vent for the hot pot.

So yes, MSM-07S Z’Gok Commander Type has the honor of becoming the cover of a hot pot. Fair enough since Zaku’s head had the honor of being a cast iron tea kettle.

The hot pot is based on the traditional Japanese earthenware or clay pots known as donabe which is the cookware of choice for winter hot pot, soup, and stew dishes.

The MSM-07S Z’Gok Commander Type Hot Pot is released by Premium Bandai where it can be ordered for 7,480 yen (US$66).

Thankfully, Z’Gok isn’t organic like Evangelion or else I will feel like I am eating the brains of Z’Gok,
