This SEMA-Fresh 1957 Chevy 3100 Is Headed Straight to Auction With No Reserve

1957 Chevrolet 3100 custom pickup truck in Clearwater Blue showcased at the 2025 SEMA Show

What are the odds that you will have a shot at getting your hands on a custom ride that was showcased recently at a major aftermarket parts trade show? I’d say super slim, but well, here we are, with the 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Custom Pickup Truck fresh out of its appearance at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

This sweet ride is heading to the block with No Reserve at the 2026 Scottsdale Auction, running January 17 to 25 at WestWorld. This is one of those builds that usually lives in the “I wish it were available to buy” category. Somehow, improbably, it isn’t. Opportunities like this do not come around often, and they almost never show up this quickly after SEMA wraps.

Finished in Clearwater Blue and built by Stafford’s Garage, this 3100 sits tall and unapologetic on a Roadster Shop RS4 chassis. It has the stance of a truck that knows people are staring. Under the hood lives a 525-horsepower LS3 crate engine paired with a Stage III Gearstar 4L70E 4-speed automatic transmission. Power runs through an Atlas transfer case, while polished stainless headers and a custom exhaust make sure everyone hears it arriving before they see it.

Stopping is handled by massive 16-inch brakes with custom-painted 6-piston billet calipers all around. Rolling stock consists of one-off 20 x 10-inch billet wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich 35 x 12.50 x 20 Mud-Terrain KM3 tires. Translation: it looks just as comfortable climbing rocks as it does collecting trophies.

And trophies it has. This truck was a Top 12 finalist at SEMA’s Battle of the Builders, earned Top 3 in the Off-Road category, and has racked up Best of Show awards like they were complimentary mints at a hotel counter. The craftsmanship backs it up, with sculpted bodywork, flawless panel gaps, electric power steps, Kindig-It Design handles, and a bed finished in curly maple with polished stainless accents.

Inside, it is all modern comfort wrapped in classic swagger. Dakota Digital RTX gauges, Restomod Air climate control, Bluetooth audio, leather and suede upholstery, and a custom center console make it a place you actually want to sit in traffic.

As for pricing, that depends entirely on how many paddles go up and how loudly people shout when it goes on the block. You know how it is with auctions.
