a supercar from Russia is something we never thought of but here it is from Russia with love, is the MaRussia B2. in a time where sports car are going electric, MaRussia chose to to go ‘old school’ with the good old petrol engine. the edgy front end and bulging sides gives the car a menacing look and might not appeal to everyone. it kind of looks like a supercar made for Darth Vader, isn’t it?

there are a choice of two engine for the B2. the first is the mid-mounted MaRussia-Cosworth 2.8 liter V-6 turbo unit which pushes out 420 pony power and 600 Nm of torque to its rear-wheel. though the numbers doesn’t sound all that crazy, but with a gross vehicle weight of just 1100 kg – those numbers become something of significant, allowing the B2 to get to 100 km/h from standstill in just 3.8 seconds. we guessing, this version should be the ‘range-topping’ version.

there another naturally-aspirated MaRussia 3.5 liter V-6 engine with 300 horses and 410 Nm of torque. no performance figures were given for the naturally-aspirated unit though. the B2 is said to be equipped with a specially designed GPS-capable entertainment system that plays music, movies, web-capable and even allows you to make video calls using Skype. if you are like us who just can’t take our eyes off the B2, the check out more images of the B2 below.
