Audiofly Outs Handsome Over-ear Headphone That Touts “Honest Sound”

Audiofly AF240 Over-ear Headphone

Audiofly, maker of audiophile-grade in-ear monitors and headphones, announces the company’s first ever over-ear headphone, AF240. First unveiled at the CES 2015 earlier this year, the AF240 is finally available now for $249.99. A $250 sticker is by no means cheap, but then again, this ain’t your regular audio cans. It features 40mm single membrane neodymium drivers offering a frequency response of between 20-20kHz and an impedance of 16 Ohms to deliver what the outfit dub as “honest sound.” And equally important, at least to us, it is one heck of a looker too. It boasts a sleek, minimal, low-profile design and has a polycarbonate body and alloy arms that strikes a balance between durability and lightweight.

Other key features include proprietary Audioflex braided cable with Cordura fabric outer sheath, noise isolating memory foam that can cut out up to 20dB of external noise, self-adjusting fitment for the perfect fit every time, and last but not least, an in-line microphone and control button for taking calls and music control. Each pair of Audiofly AF240 Over-ear Headphone comes with a wax canvas carry pouch with soft microfiber lining to keep the cans scratch-free as you lug it around.
