Fans of Speed Racer now have two more reasons to yell “Go, Speed Racer, go!” at inanimate objects. CaDA Bricks has rolled out officially licensed 1:24 scale brick-built versions of the iconic Mach 5 and Shooting Star cars, model numbers C55087W and C55088W, respectively.
The Mach 5 set packs 294 pieces, while the Shooting Star comes with 250 pieces. Both models feature moving wheels and compact display-friendly builds measuring around 17.5 cm (6.9 in.) long. They are aimed at builders aged 8 and up, though let’s be honest, a good chunk of the audience probably grew up watching the anime decades ago.
For around US$25.58 each, these sets feel like a fun little nostalgia hit without demanding shelf space—or your life savings like certain other brick brands.
