CaDA Turns Pegasus 3’s Audi A3 Rally Car Into Two Brick-Built Models

CaDA x Pegasus 3 Rally Car Building Sets Teased

The World Rally Championship may have been responsible for the fame and fortune of marques like Volkswagen, Renault, Subaru, and Mitsubishi, but there is not a single mainstream movie centered around WRC. No. B-grade movies do not count. But you can trust China to fill that gap.

In fact, it has a blockbuster trilogy called Pegasus that centers around the Rally Championship. The title literally translates to “speeding life” in Chinese. The first film debuted in 2019, the second installment arrived in 2024, and fast forward to 2026, the third chapter is set to hit theaters.

That was a lengthy intro, but we are not here to talk about the movie. We are here for the star rally race car of the protagonist, an Audi A3 Rally Car. With Pegasus 3 opening in theaters across China this Chinese New Year, there is a wave of merchandise coming along, heavily focused on the hero car.

One such merch drop comes from Chinese brick-built toy brand CaDA. It is only a tease for now, but here is what we know. CaDA is launching not one but two mini builds of the Pegasus 3 rally car: the CaDA 1:24 Pegasus 3 Rally Car (C55096) and the CaDA 1:20 Pegasus 3 Rally Car (C51104). The former is a 334-piece push-along model, while the latter is a remote-control version.

If CaDA sticks to its usual approach, the liveries seen here should be printed parts rather than stickers. Expect the 1:24 model to include a cobranded plaque. One thing to note is that CaDA did not mention Audi in the teaser, which may suggest licensing details were still pending at the time. That is speculation, of course.

Both models appear to use printed elements for the headlights rather than independent transparent parts, which is a bit of a shame. The taillights remain unclear.

As for pricing, the MSRP for the C51104 is 199 yuan (about US$29), and it goes on sale February 17, 2026, in China. The price for the smaller C55096 has not been announced, but it is expected to launch on the same date.
