Casio And ASUS Has Once Again Team Up For A ROG x G-Shock Watch

CASIO ROG x G-Shock 2019 Edition Watch

ASUS has once again partnered with Casio to release another limited edition G-Shock watch. The watch, called CASIO ROG x G-Shock 2019 Edition Watch, is based on G-Shock GA-100 model.

Apparently, this is the third time ASUS ROG and G-Shock has come together. There was one in 2017 and another last year, in 2018. Anywho, the ASUS ROG touches are pretty subtle.

The watch is all-black with the strap featuring Republic of Gamers branding (i.e. the words) in different languages imprinted on it in ROG’s font, ROG Cybertext.

Like I have said, the “touches” are really very subtle. Rounding up this collab is a collab requisite special packaging.

Beyond that, it is just the GA100 watch with features like shock resistant, water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet), world time, 1/1000-second chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, and full auto-calendar up to 2099.

Little is known about this watch beyond what we have mentioned. We tried to dig around for the past few days, but nothing concrete came up. Man, where did these blogs dug up this piece of news from?

Anywho, we read that only 1,150 pieces will be offered worldwide and Singapore is allotted 350 pieces. That makes just 800 pieces for the rest of the world, including the U.S., which is not a lot to go around, TBH.

But don’t be too hard on yourself if you did not get it when it is released on November 1, 2019, because, there is really nothing outstanding, IMHO.

However, if you are an ultimate G-Shock collector who gotta have it all, then you have to keep your eyes peeled on ASUS ROG website and ASUS ROG Facebook page for the availability and pricing.
