CMF Watch Pro 3 Gets ChatGPT and a Bunch of Upgrades Over Its Predecessor

CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 3 Smartwatch

Looking for a smartwatch that will not break your bank? The good news is that there is no lack of options, and the new CMF Watch Pro 3 is one such option in this very busy market of wearables. In this new iteration, CMF has switched things up with the design. Instead of a bevel bezel that slopes inward to protect the screen like the Watch Pro 2, it has a flat, raised bezel—complete with markings that make it look like a regular timepiece.

Key features include ChatGPT integration, dual-band GPS (L1 + L5), AI-powered fitness coaching, 131 sports modes including 7 auto-recognized activities plus animated warm-up guides, upgraded health sensors, voice recorder and transcription, Essential News Tool, Bluetooth calling, gesture controls, and a major change: Nothing X App Sync, replacing the CMF Watch app (which is not great, btw).

Oh, the new Watch Pro has a larger display, coming in at 1.43” (versus 1.32”). The 60 Hz AMOLED touch display packs the same 466 by 466 pixels, but the peak brightness has gotten a slight bump from 620 nits to 670 nits. The battery gets a bump, too. It is now 350 mAh (vs. 305 mAh) and has a claimed up to 13 days of use on a single charge.

The new Watch Pro is a 46 mm watch with a metal frame, paired to a liquid silicone strap. It is IP68 rated, and its Bluetooth version is 5.3. It has no NFC. Oh, and it is super lightweight, tipping the scales at 51–52.4g.

Where the CMF Watch Pro 2 was just another smartwatch, the CMF Watch Pro 3 stands as a smartwatch that is actually smart. Maybe? I mean, it has ChatGPT, can do Dick Tracy calls, does voice recording + transcription, and more. So it is kinda smarter. I guess?

The device has a list price of 99 dollars. However, it is marked as “sold out” at the time of this post.
