Guess what? More Crocs. This time, it isn’t the ugly-ass but yet somehow oh-so-trendy Crocs; it is the American footwear company’s slide. It is another collaboration footwear, though this time it looks and feels super classy, IMHO. Folks, this is the new Crocs x NBA ECHO SLIDE.
The Crocs x NBA ECHO SLIDE stood out not only because it departs from the usual collabs, going with a pair of SLIDE. It stood out because the slide, save for the insole aka footbed and the outsole, the entire Slide mimics the color and pattern of a basketball.
I know, right? It looks super cool. While it may lack the actual texture of a basketball, the speckle aka the dots aka pebbles is fully replicated along with the black channels/ribs. Rounding up the design is a full-color NBA official logo on the insole, as well as matching black NBA branding on the slide’s upper.
The Slide is, of course, Jibbitz Charms compatible but it has fewer holes for those. Speaking of Jibbitz Charms… the Crocs x NBA ECHO SLIDE does come with two super cool Jibbitz Charms out-of-the-box: a basketball (actual round thingy, not flat like a pin kind) and a basketball hoop complete with net.
Beyond the drool-worthy NBA aesthetics, the Crocs x NBA ECHO SLIDE bears the usual hallmarks of the Echo collection. This included a fully molded slide with bold sculpting, Croslite construction, and a LiteRide drop-in footbed. The slide is super lightweight, easy to wear, water-friendly, and buoyant.
