Folks, we are in the age of popcorn buckets. I don’t recall anyone has given this seemingly mundane collectible any attention until the Dune popcorn bucket made headlines with its, ermmm, controversial design. Anyhoo, if you haven’t already heard or seen it, here is what Cinemark has to offer for Deadpool & Wolverine fans hitting up Cinemark theaters: The Wolverine Popcorn Bucket, which was sold for US$25 empty or US$27 with popcorns, features Wolverine’s headgear as seen in the film meanwhile Deadpool Popcorn Taxi is in the iconic yellow cab with Deadpool seated cross-legged on the roof.
The roof pops open for popcorn to be filled while Wolvie’s head has a door for popcorn. Deadpool Popcorn Taxi was also sold for US$25 empty or US$27 with popcorn. Notice how I used “was” for the prices? Well, that is because these are reportedly sold out. You can find them being resold on eBay if you are interested and don’t mind being a sucker for paying possibly exorbitant sums for them. Cinemark isn’t alone in this popcorn bucket race.
Other theaters have their versions. As far as Cinemark is concerned, it does not stop at these two popcorn buckets.
