Up next is the regular Google Pixel 11 for those who find shelling out US$1,099 or more a huge financial undertaking—looking at myself in the mirror—or simply anyone who wants the new Tensor G6, three rear cameras, and Google’s latest AI tricks without paying to have “Pro” engraved on the receipt.
Its 6.3-inch Actua OLED display has a 1,080 x 2,424 resolution, a 60–120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the front, while the polished glass back and satin aluminum frame receive IP68 dust and water resistance. The phone measures 152.8 x 72 x 8.6 mm (6 x 2.8 x 0.3 inches) and weighs 197 g (6.9 oz).
Google’s Tensor G6 processor is paired with the Titan M3 security chip, 12 GB of RAM, and either 256 or 512 GB of storage. The latter uses Zoned UFS for improved performance. Android 17 is installed from the factory, and seven years of software, security, and Pixel Drop updates are promised.
The camera bar is reportedly 40% thinner than previous base Pixel models, although it still contains plenty. There is a 48 MP main camera with Macro Focus, a 13 MP ultrawide, and a 10.8 MP telephoto with optical image stabilization and 5x optical zoom. Super Zoom extends to 30x, while a 10.5 MP autofocus camera handles selfies.
Magic Capture, Camera Looks, Camera Coach, Add Me, Night Sight, Astrophotography, Best Take, Magic Eraser, and Audio Magic Eraser are among the many software features. At some point, taking an ordinary photograph may become the advanced option.
The 4,985 mAh battery is rated for more than 30 hours and can reach 55% in approximately 30 minutes using a suitable 30 W charger. Pixelsnap magnetic charging supports the Qi2.2 standard at up to 25 W.
Other highlights include Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, stereo speakers, face and fingerprint unlocking, Satellite SOS, 5G, and dual eSIM support on the U.S. model. Unlike its Pro siblings, it does not receive the HiLight notification system, so callers will have to announce themselves the old-fashioned way: by making the screen light up.
The Pixel 11 comes in Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus, and Obsidian. Pre-orders are underway ahead of its August 20 release, with prices starting at US$899 for 256 GB. Not surprisingly, this one also awarded a price bump. Ugh.
