We already know about IKEA’s gaming ambitions. It started with the concept of personalized UPPCOPPLA gaming accessories, followed by its collaboration with ASUS ROG and enough subsequent furniture to complete a proper gaming room. Now, it is bringing that ambition into shared spaces such as the living room through a collaboration you probably never saw coming. Folks, meet the IKEA x Xbox YXSTABY Gaming-inspired Collection.

YXSTABY is a nine-piece collection designed for people who play in shared living spaces rather than dedicated gaming rooms. The collection includes:

Faithful to the Xbox collaboration, controller shapes and details appear throughout the range while adhering to IKEA’s Scandinavian minimalist approach. The furniture uses restrained white, black, beige, and green finishes instead of turning the living room into an illuminated esports arena.

It is classy and kind of feels like the gamer has graduated from a young player to a mature one. Not going to lie, it is a refreshing change. One’s love for gaming should not mean sacrificing tasteful decor. The all-black-and-RGB look is getting a little old at this point.

The IKEA YXSTABY collection was unveiled at Gamescom in August 2026 and will be available from October 1, 2026, through IKEA stores and its website. Availability and pricing will vary by market, but as far as the US of A goes, here are the prices:
