ColorWare ‘NES’ Joy Con, Colored Switch And Wolfenstein Consoles

Maybe I am not all into all things colored, but when the maestro of coloring gadgets posted a tweet of a Formula Red and Steel version of Nintendo’s latest game console, Switch, I am immediately sold. Indeed, as far as images go, steel color and red does look decidedly cool. No. In fact, it is beyond cool. It is ridiculously stylish, but of course, red and steel combo may not be everyone’s cuppa and that’s really not a problem if you just want to get away from the predominantly black unit. I mean, it is ColorWare that we are talking about and therefore, myriad of color options is at your disposal if you are willing to drop the right amount of money for it. Microsoft Project Scorpio’s ‘Pre-order’ Is Live, But No Pre-ordering Yet

Microsoft must be dying to show off its next-generation game console, codename Project Scorpio. Why? Because, the software giant already had a pre-order page put up on its online store since two weeks ago. However, it is not quite a pre-order page per se, it is more like ‘hey guys, you know our next-gen game console is coming’ page. Though we have no doubt it will be converted to a pre-order page once it lands later this year. That said, details are still sketchy at best. Xbox One Game Controller Coffee Table Is Xbox Fanboys’ Dream Come True

Xbox, unlike Nintendo Entertainment System (or NES), is not quite a classic yet, but that doesn’t stop South Carolina artist Scott Blackwell of WoodCurve from turning out a giant-ass Xbox game controller as a functional coffee table, aptly called Handmade Xbox One Game Controller Coffee Table. Scott managed to mimic the likeness of the Microsoft game console’s controller, complete with the requisite buttons, directional thumbstick and D-pad, but it is, however, not an exact form. It is similar enough that any gamer can instantly recognize as one. Continue reading Xbox One Game Controller Coffee Table Is Xbox Fanboys’ Dream Come True

Forza 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Gets Custom Livery To Mark Xbox 15 Years

Forza fans take note. Microsoft and Forza is celebrating Xbox 15th anniversary with a couple of goodies for you. For starter, all players will receive a 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor draped in a custom livery celebrating Xbox’s 15 years – that’s the virtual truck you see above. Pretty dope, right? And why wouldn’t it be? A free digital vehicle is always welcome, though we must say the livery leaves much to desire. I mean, it is okay looking, but personally, I am not a fan of the green/black design. But hey, it is free and so, what’s there to complain about? Eds Junk Turned The New Xbox One S Into A Laptop And It Looks Awesome

Xbox One S may be significantly slimmer than the Xbox One, but being a game console, it is not portable and never mean to be. However, if for some reasons, portability is what you desire out of a game console, you have to look to specialist customizer like Eds Zarick AKA Ed Junks. Eds, if you don’t already know, is the other mad scientist other than Ben Heck who had previously turned Playstation 4 and Xbox One into on-the-go gaming consoles. Eds Junk is unstoppable. He simply can’t stop turning consoles into laptops that will allow you to game anywhere as long as there is a power outlet. His latest work is, of course, based on the new Xbox One S. Microsoft Unveils Slim Xbox One And ‘Most Powerful Console Ever Created’

Apple didn’t excite us with new hardware today, but Microsoft’s Xbox sure did. The slimmer Xbox One that leaked is now official. In fact, it was made official just hours after our post. Officially dubbed Xbox One S, this new game console has a lot to be proud of, including the obvious like a slimmer build that’s 40 percent smaller than the original Xbox One and previously reported, up to 2TB of storage, which it is going need since it now supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) support for video and gaming. Actually, we are more impressed by the size reduction because not only did the folks over at Xbox managed to reduce the size drastically, but this much smaller console has a few extras, including a built-in power brick and a newly added IR blaster.
