LEGO Just Turned a Soccer Ball Into a Stadium You Can Open

LEGO Editions Soccer Ball (43019) Building Set

You probably already know LEGO elements are versatile, but to the extent that they could be used to create a perfectly round soccer ball in almost 1:1 scale? To be honest, I never knew it could do that, but there it is: the LEGO Editions Soccer Ball (43019) Building Set.

Packing 1,498 pieces, the 43019 is not just a LEGO soccer ball; it is a soccer stadium too. Based on a size 5 ball used in official soccer games, the set uses Technic elements to achieve a rounded shape. The exterior boasts six stylish deco discs, with brick elements filling the spaces in between. It is as real as it can get, except that you can’t kick it.

That’s just the start. On the inside, it features a miniature stadium celebration scene. At the press of a button, part of the ball opens up like a space pod, revealing the moment soccer player figures celebrate a win and an oversized trophy, complete with fireworks popping off behind the stage. Further behind the celebratory fireworks is a pair of big screens.

Rounding out the set is a black base, allowing you to show it off as sports décor once completed. The model measures over 8.5 in. (22 cm) high, 8.5 in. (21 cm) wide, and 8.5 in. (21 cm) deep when assembled.

The LEGO Editions Soccer Ball (43019) Building Set is set to drop on March 01, 2026, for US$129.99. Eager fans can secure a copy by pre-ordering it from LEGO.com as we speak.
