LEGO x Crocs Collection Brings Brick-Studded Style to Classic Clogs

LEGO x Crocs Midnight Garden Masterbrand Creativity and Kids Creativity clogs with LEGO studded sole brick mold and Jibbitz charms

Not going to lie. The LEGO brick shoe is a fashion statement, but perhaps not a practical one. It turns heads. However, you’d probably trip all over with that clunky form. I am not saying you will. The risks are there. So, perhaps, you want that in your display cabinet, and dial things down a little with a pair of actual clogs. Folks, meet the new LEGO x Crocs collection.

The collection includes three heavily LEGO-themed clogs and a set of Jibbitz. There’s the LEGO Midnight Garden Clog, the LEGO Masterbrand Creativity Clog, and the LEGO Creativity Clog, which also includes a model for kids. As far as wear comfort goes, it is the good’ol clogs you have known, and hence it has the form you are familiar with—except for the midsole and that iconic LEGO logo on the outer side of the heel strap.

Meanwhile, the midsole is wrapped in a LEGO brick mold, aptly referred to as the “sole brick mold.” It is really a replica of a LEGO brick that is not buildable with LEGO bricks. Still, it looks kinda cool. Even if it were compatible, the shoemaker will not encourage or tell you that, for fear of folks piling it up with elements that inhibit walking, or make walking dangerous. But seriously, it’d be more dangerous than eating from your ankle. Just saying…

Even then, the sole brick mold is more than meets the eye. The brick system, i.e., the number of studs, varies by shoe size. Like, how cool is that? Oh, the sole brick mold is actually made up of a collection of classic LEGO bricks. Another interesting touch is the pivot point of each LEGO-themed clog, which is a round 2×2 plate.

All three models, plus the kids’ model, share the same design with some subtle differences. The LEGO Midnight Garden Clog is an all-black pair, save for the LEGO branding. It features intricate LEGO brick flowers and leaf Jibbitz that are 150% scale versions of LEGO pieces. So, no, the Jibbitz charms are not buildable with LEGO bricks, though they can be further customized with other Jibbitz charms. The sole brick mold is also presented in all black.

The LEGO Masterbrand Creativity Clog and the LEGO Creativity Clog are essentially the same. Both feature a colorful sole brick mold. However, the Masterbrand is available only in black clogs, while the non-Masterbrand gets a choice of black or white clogs. The Masterbrand is outfitted with LEGO brick Jibbitz charm configurations on the upper.

The Kids’ LEGO Creativity Clog is, as the name suggests, the kids’ version of the Creativity Clog, but it has three colors to choose from: Black, White, and Pink. The pink version gets a pink-shades-based sole brick mold, which is really, really cool.

Each pair of LEGO x Crocs clogs includes a LEGO minifigure with four pairs of brick clogs—while supplies last, of course.

Finally, there’s the LEGO Sunshine Garden 10 Pack Jibbitz. As with the charms on the Midnight Garden Clog, these are 150% scale versions of traditional LEGO pieces, and they are not toys.

The LEGO Midnight Garden Clog is available now for US$89.99, while the LEGO Masterbrand Creativity and the LEGO Creativity Clog sell for US$89.99 and US$79.99, respectively. The kids’ version costs US$59.99, and the Jibbitz pack is US$39.99.

Speaking of Jibbitz, other regions may have additional items in the collection. For example, Crocs Singapore also has the following: LEGO Masterbrand 10 Pack, LEGO Masterbrand 5 Pack, LEGO Blue Tile 1×1, LEGO Red Tile 1×1, LEGO Gaming 10 Pack, LEGO White Flower, LEGO Sunflower, LEGO Yellow Flower Bud, LEGO Sailboat, LEGO Yellow Tile 1×2, and LEGO Castle. The prices range from S$8.95 to S$59.95.
