The Cayenne Coupe has always carved out its own niche in Porsche’s lineup. It takes an SUV, trades a bit of practicality for style, and still manages to win over buyers. The numbers back it up too, with the Coupe making up 40 percent of Cayenne sales in the U.S. last year. Now, for the first time, Porsche has given the swoopy SUV the electric treatment.
Meet the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric. It joins the Cayenne Electric SUV lineup while gas and plug-in hybrid Coupe models continue to live on, proving that Porsche still believes in giving buyers options.
Like its SUV sibling, the Coupe rides on an 800-volt architecture and adaptive air suspension. However, the sloping roofline lowers the body by 24 mm and helps achieve a drag coefficient of just 0.23. The Sport Chrono Package and panoramic glass roof also come standard.
Performance starts with 435 hp and 615 lb-ft (834 Nm) of torque, enough for 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The Cayenne S Coupe Electric raises the stakes to 657 hp, while the Turbo Coupe Electric delivers up to 1,139 hp and a supercar-rivaling 2.4-second sprint to 60 mph. Which is mildly amusing considering this thing can tow up to 7,716 pounds (3,500 kg) and even offers an Off-Road Package.
Charging should not require much patience either. With a compatible 400-kW charger, the 113-kWh battery can go from 10 to 80 percent in under 16 minutes.
Perhaps the funniest part is that Porsche has turned the first Cayenne Coupe EV into a family hauler capable of embarrassing sports cars while towing a trailer. That, my friends, is peak Porsche.
Prices start at US$113,800, with deliveries expected to begin at the end of summer 2026.
