If your impression of a digital blood pressure monitor is a chunky, calculator-looking contraption with a monochrome LCD, oversized rubber buttons, and a rubber hose connecting the arm cuff to a tabletop console, you might want to update that mental image. RunStar has a new blood pressure monitor that looks nothing like the machines you might remember from the doctor’s office.
Meet the RunStar LoopGo Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor (BP-202), a compact, all-in-one device that does away with the tabletop console and external air hose. Everything is integrated into the upper-arm cuff, including a rotatable TFT color display that flips and turns for easier viewing.
Of course, RunStar isn’t the first to come up with a wearable blood pressure monitor. Withings had a wireless model way back in 2014, though you needed a smartphone app to see the readings. Then there’s OMRON’s HeartGuide, which squeezes a blood pressure monitor into something resembling a smartwatch.
What makes the LoopGo interesting is that it combines the familiar upper-arm cuff with a built-in, rotatable color display, so you can see your readings without reaching for your phone (though it does have a companion app), or performing circus-grade gymnastics.
It measures systolic and diastolic blood pressure, along with pulse rate, in under 60 seconds. Large digital readings are accompanied by visual alerts for abnormal results and improper cuff placement. There’s even voice guidance in five languages: English, German, Italian, French, and Spanish.
For those who like keeping tabs on their numbers, the LoopGo connects to the RunStar app via Bluetooth, automatically syncing readings for long-term tracking. It also supports multiple users and stores up to 99 readings per user.
Power comes from a built-in rechargeable battery, good for approximately 200 measurements per charge, with USB-C handling charging duties. The adjustable cuff accommodates arms measuring 22–42 cm (8.6–16.5 inches) in circumference.
The RunStar LoopGo Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor began shipping on October 26, 2026, following its launch announcement. It’s currently listed on RunStar’s official store for US$69.99, discounted from US$99.99.
