You Can Wave To Turn On And Off This 1.36 oz. Hat Light

Sunrei H100 Rechargeable Working Hat Light

This is a handy flashlight for campers and fishing enthusiasts. Not only the Sunrei H100 Rechargeable Working Hat Light offers a hands-free flashlight when you need lights, but you can turn it on just by waving 10-15 cm (3.9-5.9″) in front of the light while it is clipped to your hat. Now that, my friends, is convenience we never thought we need.

Strangely, flashlight maker Sunrei did not implement sensing technology on its headlamp range. Or am I missing something? Anywho… this nifty hat lamp is IPX5 rated and it boasts Chip-on-board (COB) LED which should yield improved “lumen density”. In other words, more lumens squeezed out of smaller LED array.

Speaking lumens, H100 offers 100 lumens of brightness and because of COB, it claims to eliminate spotting and it is also more energy efficient. H100 is powered by a rechargeable 3.7V/500 mAh lithium battery that recharges in 1.5 hours for 27 hours of use. No USB-C interface here, though. It uses a standard micro USB charging port.

Two buttons on the flashlight let users can choose between manually on/off and sensing on/off. A couple of other highlights include built-in indicator light for battery status and a hat clip with 180-degree of angle adjustment.
