While Apple iPhone is not a luxury phone—though some outfits can make it so—it remains a symbol of sophistication that kind of feels very much like a luxe product. However, if even an Apple is beneath you, then perhaps you want to take a look at the new, ultra-limited Vertu Agent Q GT Limited Edition luxury smartphone. The phone is so named for good reasons. No. Not the “GT” part, and not the “Limited Edition” part either. It is called “Agent Q” because it will give you access to 200 proactive AI agents that will make even James Bond envious.
The 200+ specialized agents proactively manage your daily life, autonomously planning and executing your travel, business, and logistics. A true digital chief of staff who thinks ahead. That’s right, you get to have your very own COS even if you are not the POTUS. But feeling like a Scrooge McDuckian with over 200 “agents” at your disposal is just part of the story.
The other star feature is the luxe build—both literally and engineering-wise. The Vertu Agent Q GT Limited Edition boasts a Falcon-wing SIM chamber with a Swiss hinge (no, it is not a watch), U-shaped seamless leather, 320 hand-assembled components (still not a watch), thick gold-plated internals, and a ceramic pillow. It further touts a titanium skeleton and a ruby button that offers a one-way gateway to proactive intelligent agents.
Furthermore, it has a 5-layer architecture that offers hardware-level isolation and a triple-system architecture, plus a 10 TB distributed vault with local encryption for sensitive files and photos. It’s data sovereignty at its best, safe from cloud breaches. It does have “cloud,” though not quite in the traditional sense. It can be interpreted as cloud storage designed so that, in the event of server compromise, it should not reveal readable data. Theoretically, your nude photos should not be revealed. But I will not bet on it, TBH.
As for imaging… it is not often Vertu flaunts its imaging capability. However, this time, it has something to shout about. In addition to a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, it has a 64 MP telephoto camera that it proudly proclaims as having the world’s first true mechanical zoom lens, engineered with Swiss precision to deliver a flawless, human-eye perspective that Vertu calls “the humanist lens.” Camera details are as follows:

It has a 32 MP hole-punch camera on the 6.02-inch flexible AMOLED FHD+ (2,340 × 1,080 pixels) display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it features the 3 nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Supreme, backed by 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, plus the A5 dedicated hardware encryption chip. Other notables include 2G to 5G radios, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual stereo speakers, DTS Ultra, and a 5,565 mAh battery with 65 W fast charging.
The Vertu Agent Q GT Limited Edition has a production run of just 50 units worldwide, each costing a grand US$5,999. At the time of this post, it has only 12 units left. It’s available in Space Silver and Black finishes.
