Here Are Some New Amazon Gadgets For Tech Savvy Parents And Their Kids

Amazon Kids Edition Kindle Fire HD 10 and More

Most parents would prefer kids have lesser screen time as possible. If you are not the ‘most parents’ and prefer kiddo not to stay out of your eReader or tablet, Amazon has just the gadgets for you. Meet the Amazon Kindle Kids Edition and Fire HD 10 Kids Edition.

Touted as a first ever dedicated reading experience built just for kids, the Amazon Kindle Kids Edition boasts a battery that last for weeks, a kid-friend case, a 2-year worry-free guarantee.

With the device, juniors will have access to over a thousand premium eBooks with Amazon FreeTime Unlimited.

As for the next generation Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition, it promised to deliver faster performance with longer battery life and faster charging, plus kids-friendly contents with one year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited. A kid-proof case and a 2-year worry-free guarantee are standard issues.

Both the Amazon Kindle Kids Edition and the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition are available, retailing for $109.99 and $199.99, respectively.

FreeTime is not free, btw. Its $2.99 per month for Prime members and $4.99 per month for non-Prime members.

For the grownups, there’s the all-new Amazon Fire HD 10 that features a 10.1-inch FHD display, faster octa-core 2.0 GHz processor, 32 GB storage expandable up to 512 GB with microSD card, 12 hours battery life, USB-C interface, and of course, Alexa.

Also new to the new Amazon Fire HD 10 is the picture-in-picture feature that lets you let you watch video while do things like, surfing the web, check email and whatnot.

Honestly, I have no idea why anyone needs to be so distracted. Whatever you are watching must be bad to make you want to do other things other than giving your undivided attention to the show. If so, why bother watching in the first place? Just saying…

Anywho… if you are down, Amazon Fire HD 10 is available for your taking for $149.99. It’s affordable, alright. No doubt about it, but can we just agree that the front design is so 2017? I mean, look at the bezel! It is kaiju of bezel by today’s standard, tablet or not.
