Don’t be—you still can own one, albeit one that isn’t drivable and comes in 1:18 scale, but every bit as dramatic. Meet the new AUTOart Lamborghini LM002, a die-cast that shrinks the wonderfully excessive V12 off-roader without shrinking a single detail.
AUTOart has recreated the massive hood bulge needed to accommodate that Countach-derived 5.2-liter V12, along with the riveted bodywork, dual fuel filler caps, chunky Pirelli Scorpion tires, and the LM002’s unmistakable “move or be moved” stance. The original produced 450 hp and weighed around 2.7 tonnes, so your shelf is probably the safer place for one anyway.
Rosso Siviglia (red), Bianco Polo Park (white), and Argento (metallic silver) are available now for US$280 each. They will eventually be joined by Blu Acapulco Metallic (metallic blue), also priced at US$280.
