EXP 15: Bentley’s First EV Concept Comes With Luggage Space For Pets

Bentley EXP 15 Design Vision Concept

The future of Bentley design just got a full-size, five-meter-long preview. It’s called the EXP 15, and no, you can’t buy it. But it does hint at what Bentley’s first all-electric car could look like when it finally shows up in 2026. Sort of.

This concept sedan draws inspiration from the 1930 Speed Six “Blue Train” coupe, borrowing its endless hood, upright grille, and rear-biased cabin. The grille, by the way, no longer cools anything. It’s a digital sculpture now—backlit with animated LEDs just because they can.

Inside, it’s a three-seater. One seat for the driver, two for whoever gets invited. The passenger-side seat swivels, slides, reclines, and offers what Bentley calls “uncluttered exit,” which is a fancy way of saying you won’t be climbing out like a pretzel. There’s space under the floor to strap in hand luggage—or a small dog. The EXP 15 also redefines the tailgate party. Well, albeit, possibly a luxurious one with a bottle of US$100,000 champagne. The rear can be let down to reveal two tailgate seats, and unlike a pickup truck, it comes with a fridge and even a little lamp.

The interior mixes analog charm with digital theatrics. Switches and dials are still around, but they now hide behind a full-width display when not needed. The dashboard centerpiece is a so-called “Mechanical Marvel,” which is part compass, part gauge, and all about the vibes.

As for the materials… There is wool from Fox Brothers, silk from royal fabric mills, 3D-printed titanium, and backlit veneer with diamond patterns. The whole car’s finished in a new satin gold paint that apparently doesn’t interfere with radar. Fancy.

As far as concepts go, EXP 15 is less about retro nostalgia and more about where Bentley’s headed next—equal parts old-world charm and over-the-top design indulgence. If you are keen, you may learn more about the EXP 15 HERE.
