In what was arguably the biggest news today, luxury sport car maker Lamborghini has officially make its return to SUV market with the much anticipated Urus. That’s right. The Urus has broke cover today at Sant’Agata Bolognese. When it did so, it completely rewrite the SUV rule book and proudly stake claim as the world’s first Super Sport Utility Vehicle (SSUV). Yep. Supercar, Super SUV, and it rightly is. With a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo tuck under the hood kicking out a supercar’s level 650 horses and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque, this elevated supercar makes the century mark in mere 3.6 seconds and reaches a too-crazy-for-SUV top speed of 305 km/h (190-freaking-miles-an-hour!). Think I almost ran out of breath just by writing that. And yet, it is still a SUV. A SUV. Continue reading Meet The World’s First Super Sport Utility Vehicle, The Lamborghini Urus

Audi’s New A7 Sportback Has Mild Hybrid System Across The Engine Range

We decided that we are not the mouthpiece of Audi and so, we shall dispense with all the marketing mambo jambo that comes with the newly revealed Audi A7 Sportback. Sportback is essentially fastback and you know what it means when it is a fastback? It is tickles our fancy. Many American muscles that we love are build on the foundation of a fastback. But the Audi here is, of course, not American. That does not make it any less deserving of our love. It features what Audi refer to as a four-door coupe form, which I believe was first adopted by Mercedes-Benz years ago. New Range Rover Is Not Just Luxurious, But It Is Silent Too

Land Rover fans who are a tad eco-conscious can now look the marque’s 2018 Range Rover because, this luxury off-roader has now gone a teeny weeny bit greener – thanks to the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) drivetrain made up of a longitudinally-mounted 300 PS (221 kW or about 295 HP) 2L four-pot Ingenium petrol engine and a 85 kW electric motor. According to the horse’s mouth, the total yield from the P400e PHEV is 404 PS (or 297 kW which works out to be 398 HP). Now, at this point, keen eye readers probably noted the discrepancy in numbers. Me too, but don’t ask me why, really. I spent the last five minutes brooding over this and I still don’t get it. Continue reading New Range Rover Is Not Just Luxurious, But It Is Silent Too

One-Of-A-Kind ‘Rally-Spec’ Bentley Continental GT Sold For £40,800

In one episode of the National Geographic’s TV show, Supercar Megabuild, a Bentley Continental GT was ‘brutally’ put under the knife, turning it from a luxury road car into an apocalypse-worthy, luxury off-road vehicle. It was an act not all Bentley enthusiasts will condone and this being a Bentley, nobody would have fancy an off-road version anyways, unless, of course, it is an official factory example. Me, on the other hand, kind of love it, but I could be the minority and minor love it did get because, despite the 101 bids it has attracted when this one-of-a-kind ‘rally-spec’ Bentley Continental GT went on the block, it only managed to conclude with a £40,800 sticker (roughly US$55,000), which is lesser than an untouched Bentley Continental GT would have fetched. BMW i Vision Dynamics Is The Electric Mobility Of “Immediate Future”

Described as an “electric mobility of the much more immediate future,” the BMW i Vision Dynamics bears a shell that indeed looks like a probable car of today, or at least, in very near future. Unveiled at this year’s IAA Cars 2017 show in Frankfurt, the BMW i Vision Dynamics is a four-door Gran Coupe powered by an undisclosed electric drive that offers a range of 373 miles (600 km), promised a top speed of 120 miles an hour (200 km/h) and takes mere four seconds to cover the century sprint. These are numbers that are not out-of-this-world, which means, they are likely to be realized. Even the aesthetic, while ‘futuristic’ in a way, looks pretty down-to-earth. BMW Unveiled New 4.4L V8 Bi-Turbo M5 with 600 HP of Adrenalin Rush

Good news M fans who can’t get enough of M power. The newest M power, the new BMW M5, has just gone official and it looks, well, so very 2017 BMW. That being said, there’s really nothing to pick on the aesthetic; it is just the design language you have come to expect of a Beemer of 2017/18. What’s important to true M fans would be what goes under that muscular, sculpted aluminum hood which happens to be a very, very angry 4.4L V8 bi-turbo motor with, you guessed it, M TwinPower Turbo technology that kicks out 600 horses and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque.
