BMW Marks 35 Years Of M5 With 350 Units Of BMW M5 Edition 35 Years

BMW has announced a special BMW M5 Edition 35 Years to celebrate 35 years of M5. Blessed with a V8 motor with M TwinPower Turbo Technology that pumps out 625 hp and 750 Nm of torque, the Anniversary Edition rockets from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and making the 200 mark after just 10.8 seconds. The BMW M5 Edition 35 Years will see a limited run of just 350 units worldwide and it will be available starting July 2019.

Features include all-wheel drive M xDrive, Active M Differential, calipers of the standard M compound brake system in high-gloss black, newly designed 20-inch M light alloy wheels in Y spoke design and in Graphite Grey, BMW Individual fittings, M multifunctional seats, BMW Individual Merino full leather trim in black with beige contrast seams, aluminum carbon structure gold anodized finishers and finally, as mark that this isn’t your run-of-the-mill M5 are “M5 Edition 35 Jahre” inscription on door sill and on the cupholder cover in the center console.

The BMW M5 Edition 35 Years comes in Frozen Dark Grey metallic paint job that boasts a special pigmentation to create a silk matte surface impression (like who needs a matte car wrap, right?). Even though this itself is a special edition, there’s option for M carbon ceramic brake system which is optionally available with gold finished brake calipers.

No words on the pricing, though. July is not too far away and hence, if you expect yourself to get your hands on one, you really ought to be in touch with your favorite BMW dealers now because, you know, 350 isn’t a lot to go around.
