The huge missed opportunity with the Nike and Converse Stranger Things collab was seemingly filled by the custom Nike SB Stranger Things Vecna Custom Sneakers. Alas, even that is not yours to buy, no matter how much money you have. OK. Maybe you can get Richard Prieto to make a pair if you pay him enough, maybe, but for now, we have a better option: Bull Airs Upside Down Collection Part 2.
Set to release on New Year’s Eve, i.e., December 31, 2025, the collection boldly goes where Nike and Converse dare not: giving you Stranger Things-themed kicks. There’s a custom Air Max with a pair of ’80s headphones with a real working speaker wrapped from behind the heel and finished in Max’s tracksuit colors—a nod to Max Mayfield. And the there’s a pair of custom Travis Scott Jordan 1 Lows that pay homage to the Hellfire Club, a pair of custom AJ1 High Tops partially covered in Vecna’s raw, grotesque skin, a pair of loafers inspired by Holly Wheeler’s imaginary friend Mr. Whatsit’s suit in Stranger Things 5, and finally, a pair of custom SB Dunks that draw inspiration from “bad kid turned hero” Derek Turnbow’s colorful getup.
In addition, the Bull Airs Upside Down Collection Part 2 includes two jackets. One is inspired by Eddie Munson’s denim jacket, while the other is a hooded jacket wrapped in Vecna’s skin pattern.
As for pricing, the loafers (Mr. Imaginary – Steers) are priced at US$65 a pair, and the Vecna-inspired high tops (Undying King – Custom AJ1 High Top) command a cool US$450. The rest of the footwear retails for US$399 a pair. As for the jackets, they cost US$275 each. There’s also a bundle of all five kicks, the Upside Down Collection 2 Mega Bundle, which sells for US$1,313 for fans who want everything in one go.
Some kicks from Collection Part 1 are still available, either low in stock or as pre-orders. However, the Eddie Munson/Hellfire Club-inspired highs and the Vecna-inspired custom SB Dunk Lows are already sold out.
Anyways, if you want any of the kicks and/or jackets from the Bull Airs Upside Down Collection Part 2, you will have to act fast when it drops on December 31, 2025.
