Dyson’s Latest Lamp, The Lightcycle Morph, Is Super High-Tech And Super Pricey

Dyson Lightcycle Morph Lamp

This is Dyson Lightcycle Morph Lamp, Dyson‘s latest lamp. It so named because, it intelligently adjusts the color temperature and brightness based on local daylight, your age and the task to provide optimal illumination.

It has magnetic touch-glide docking, slide-touch controls, Heat Pipe technology to keep the lamp cool and boost longevity, and an integrated USB-C charger. Sadly, there’s no wireless charging feature, but that won’t make it any less futuristic because, it has a bunch of other tricks up its sleeves.

Available as desk lamp or floor lamp, Dyson Lightcycle Morph Lamp is designed to emulate the light temperature accurate to the time of the day through six built-in LEDs. In this way, it helps to regulate a person’s circadian rhythm so when it is time to sleep, you can enter la la land much easier.

Articulation is also this light’s strength, allowing it to be use as a task light, an indirect light, a feature light, and a soft glowing ambient light. I thought the latter is the most clever among the four modes. By moving the light over the main body, it magnetically snaps into place and the light is directed into the vertical tube to create a super cool warm glow. Pretty snazzy, right?

The lamp is app-enabled, allowing functions, customization and presets to be accessed with the Dyson Link app. Words cannot describe how fancy the Dyson Lightcycle Morph Lamp. That said, if you are down, we suggest that you can check out the product page to learn more.

Before you go, you ought to understand such high-tech lamp does not come cheap. But it shouldn’t come as a surprise as it is a Dyson and also given its high-tech nature. If you want one, be prepared to drop $649.99 for the desk model or $849.99 for the floor version. Yes. They are that expensive.
