Also from the movie Fantastic Four: First Steps, and also from Regal Theatres, is another popcorn bucket. Though you’d probably have to pay around 50% more than its original US$59.95 sticker price, because it is, you guessed it, sold out. The Fantastic Four: First Steps “Fantasticar” Popcorn Bucket – Limited Edition Exclusive is, as the mouthful product name suggests, a limited edition and exclusive item (which we are not a fan of, if I may add). I’m not sure when it was snapped up, but I’d imagine it was the same day, given how efficient scalpers are these days.
This popcorn bucket is just as desirable as the upcoming Galactus head, but it has less capacity than the world-eater. Shaped like the team’s iconic flying car and finished in metallic paint as seen in the movie, opening the hood and lifting the entire canopy reveals a very barebones interior—that also happens to be your snack receptacle, with an 85 oz. (2.5 liters) capacity for your buttery indulgence. Obviously, it’s not going to have interior detailing. That would be a nightmare to clean.
When closed, it serves as a super cool model for your Fantastic Four shrine, and at 18 inches long, 6.7 inches wide, and 4.75 inches tall (~45 by 17 by 12 centimeters), it commands serious shelf presence. Unfortunately, this big guy has already been spoken for. But, as mentioned, if you’re willing to feed the scalpers, you can find it floating around eBay for a variety of prices.
