Getac V120 Rugged Laptop Hits the Gym, Comes Out as an AI-Ready Beast

Getac V120 Fully Rugged Laptop

If laptops went to the gym, the Getac V120 would be the dude bench-pressing tanks. This isn’t your dainty ultrabook for sipping lattes at Starbucks. This is a fully rugged, AI-ready Copilot+ PC designed to work in places where WiFi drops dead, dust storms laugh at you, and “oops, I dropped it” means four feet down on concrete.

The V120 evolves from Getac’s V110, bulking up with a brighter 12.2-inch LumiBond display rated at 1,000 nits, slimmer bezels, and a convertible hinge that lets it moonlight as a tablet. Under the hood, it runs Intel Core Ultra 200H Series processors with integrated Intel Arc GPUs and AI acceleration. Base config starts with 8 GB DDR5 RAM and a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD, with upgrades up to 64 GB RAM and 2 TB storage for those who really like hoarding.

Connectivity gets a glow-up too: WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports (three if you’re needy), plus optional 5G Sub-6 and GPS. Hot-swappable batteries mean you can keep going long after your coworkers have given up, while the MIL-STD-810H and IP66 rating keep it alive in -29 to +63 degrees Celsius.

Weighing just 2.1 kg (4.6 lbs), the V120 launches in October 2025. No word on pricing yet, but don’t expect bargain-bin. OK. I know somebody is going to say that 2.1 kilograms ain’t light. It isn’t… for a regular laptop. But we are talking a tank-like laptop here, which makes this weight seem paltry. Anyhoo, it is for businesses, and if your organization is looking to get one or several, you may pore through the details of this rugged beast HERE.
