Here Are Some Awesome Gadgets From ASUS Announced At Computex 2017

Taiwan is the home to Asia’s biggest computer show, Computex, and it is also ASUS home ground and so, naturally, the Taiwanese tech company has more than a couple of laptops to show off. An among the horde of laptop computers and gadgets unveiled, there are some that are out to beckon you to part with your hard-earned money. The router with a gaping hole is, of course, one of them and so is the ASUS ZenBook Flip S and the ASUS ZenBook Pro. We are a little less impressed with the Vivo series though. Maybe it looks way to mundane and too MacBook-ish. Anywho, here’s a rundown of the laptop computers and gadgets from ASUS at this year’s Computex. Here Are The First Laptops From China Telecom Giant, Huawei

To everyday consumers, Huawei is probably known for its mobile devices, but today, or rather, a couple of days ago, that changes as the China telecom giant introduces a line of laptops called MateBook. If don’t already know, this is the first foray into laptop market for Huawei and with many gadgets coming out of China of late, they are looking pretty sleek. Or should I say, a little MacBook-ish kind of sleek. The line up, which includes a 13-inch fanless laptop (Huawei MateBook X), a 2-in-1 (Huawei MateBook E) and a 15.6-inch portable (Huawei MateBook D), is slated to be available in summer 2017 for 700-1699 euros, depending on the models and configurations. There’s No Microsoft Surface Pro 5, It Is Just The New Surface Pro

There are so many laptop options out there that sometimes, we find it pointless to tell you that there’s another new one out there. But we heard there’s a new Microsoft Surface Pro and we also read that it is pretty dope in both performance and the look department. Anyways, if you are still expecting Surface Pro 5, well, don’t. It is not happening. Microsoft has removed the number and it is now just Microsoft Surface Pro. Marketed as the “most versatile laptop” (but it is more like a laptop/tablet hybrid, really), Microsoft said the new Surface Pro “has been redesigned from the inside out,” with the machine now boasting 50 percent more battery life than the 4 (up to 13.5 hours of use per charge) and 2.5 times faster than the 3. Bold MacBook Pro 2018 Concept Has Huge Touch Keyboard/Pad Hybrid

Now that Apple has implemented touch bar on its MacBook Pro, it wouldn’t be farfetched to think that in future, the entire keyboard, along with the touch pad, will be replaced by a huge-ass touch-based keyboard. Such a design is exactly what Seattle-based industrial design student Daniel Brunsteiner is driving with his MacBook Pro 2018 Concept. The concept is nothing less than audacious, but the possibility is very real and while regular users may not appreciate the huge touch canvas, creative professionals could benefit from it. Microsoft New Surface Laptop Announced, Has Alcantara In The Mix

We love how Apple and later, Samsung and LG, made the gadget world more beautiful. Without them, we wouldn’t have expect Microsoft to pull the socks in the design department. The latest of Microsoft’s effort can be seen in the new Microsoft Surface Laptop. Sporting a clean, elegant design, this sleek portable computing device comes in four rich tone-on-tone combinations with the keyboard spruced up by Alcantara fabric. Yes. That Alcantara. The same type that you usually found in automobile seats and upholstery, but it does cover the keys, of course; it was the area surrounding the keyboard that gets this luxurious fabric. Acer Enters Thin Form Gaming Laptop Market With Predator Triton 700

For the longest time, Razer Blade gaming laptops stood unchallenged for their game prowess in an astounding thin form factor. But not anymore. Acer, the name that’s also no stranger in the gaming arena, has took up the challenge to make a thin form factor gaming laptop called Predator Triton 700. While the 18 mm profile this black slab of beauty touts is not the thinnest in the industry, it is still far thinner than anything outside of Razer’s domain and perhaps more importantly, it has the grunt that should give gamers an alternative outside of Razer’s offerings.
