After teaming up with Godzilla previously, Japanese ramen chain Ichikakuya is now going full tokusatsu with Ultraman. To celebrate the franchise’s 60th anniversary, the Yokohama-style ramen specialist is launching the “Ramen Ultra Operation!!” collaboration from April 28 to June 21, 2026.
The centerpiece is the limited-edition Ultra-men ramen, a bowl of Ichikakuya’s signature ie-kei ramen topped with oversized nori featuring Ultraman heroes. Yes, the pun is absolutely intentional. Diners who order the collaboration ramen in-store also get a chance to win exclusive merchandise through an instant lottery, including Ultraman-themed renge spoons and tumblers.
There is even a limited digital photo frame available through Ultraman’s official LINE account, because why the hell not?
The collaboration runs across most Ichikakuya locations in Japan, excluding select stores.
