Home audio has spent years pretending it is easy. It is not. You buy a soundbar, then you add surrounds, then a subwoofer, then you move the couch three centimeters, and suddenly the rear left channel sounds like it is auditioning for another apartment. LG clearly got tired of this, too, which explains the LG Sound Suite with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.
Debuting at CES 2026, LG Sound Suite is LG’s way of saying home theater should adapt to your living room, not the other way around. At the center of it all is the H7 soundbar, the world’s first soundbar powered by Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. Translation. You put the speakers where they fit, not where the manual tells you to, and the system figures out the rest.
The Sound Suite is modular, wireless, and refreshingly flexible. You can run just the H7 soundbar, or pair it with M7 and M5 surround speakers and the W7 subwoofer. Mix and match freely for up to 27 possible configurations, scaling all the way to a full 13.1.7-channel setup. Start small. Go big later. Rearrange the room. No panic attacks required. When the H7 acts as the lead device, it works with any TV via HDMI, and Dolby Atmos FlexConnect is also coming to LG’s 2026 premium TVs and select 2025 models via software update.
Audio tuning is where LG flexes its engineering muscle. Sound Follow uses ultra-wideband technology to adjust the sweet spot based on where you are sitting. Combined with Room Calibration Pro and AI processing, the system analyzes your room and balances the sound so every seat feels intentional. Not lucky. Intentional.
Inside the H7 is LG’s α11 AI Processor Gen 3, borrowed straight from its flagship OLED TVs. AI Sound Pro+ up-mixes stereo content into multi-channel surround sound, while object separation keeps dialogue, music, and effects from stepping on each other. Everything adapts based on what you are watching or listening to.
All speakers use Peerless driver units, a name that has been around longer than most living room furniture. Add Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for streaming convenience, and this starts to feel less like a sound system and more like a properly thought-out ecosystem.
LG Sound Suite with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect will be shown at CES 2026 from January 6 to 9. Until then, the price is under wraps. I don’t even know if it would have a number by then.
