If This Is How The Google Pixel XL 2 Will Look Like, Sign Me Up For One!

We usually don’t do rumors and if we did, it is almost always about Apple iPhone, but looking at how the smartphone industry have shifted so far, you know, Google getting into the hardware making itself, we think it is time that we dish out some rumors on the upcoming Google Pixel 2. Anywho, what you see here is a render based on the rumors and leaks that have been floating around the Internet over the last couple of months, courtesy of Android Police. Whether or not the final device will look like this, it is pretty much anybody’s guess, but we secretly hope it is. If it does really look like, I am all for it and I am not apologetic for being a sucker for design. Continue reading If This Is How The Google Pixel XL 2 Will Look Like, Sign Me Up For One!

LG V30 Smartphone Unveiled, Packs A Boatload Of “Industry Innovations”

I said it before and I will say it again. I never understand the need for handset makers to have more than one flagship. I mean, seriously, it is basically cannibalizing its own market in the name of market share. I guess manufacturers just can’t help it, thanks to a thing called competition-pressure. LG is one such handset makers that caved into the pressure and the new V30 announced at the IFA is the company’s the other flagship that should make you torn in deciding to wait for the next G series or go for the V. I guess it is a good news for fans of the V series. Continue reading LG V30 Smartphone Unveiled, Packs A Boatload Of “Industry Innovations”

LG Unveiled Q8 Smartphone, Touts It As A “Multimedia Powerhouse”

It looks like Huawei is feeling the pinch of selling low-budget devices. According to a report, the Chinese telecommunication equipment maker is revamping the strategy to go “high-end” only, just like the fruity company have been doing all these while. However, not every major handset maker is feeling the heat yet and LG is certainly one of them not feeling the heat. Granted, they do not have as many handset models as Samsung, they are still pretty relentless in trying to fill the perceived segment void. The LG Q8 announced early this week is one good example. LG G6 Unveiled, Touts “Bold New Display Format” And Researched Ergonomics

16:9 AR, or aspect ratio, displays have been an unspoken standard for smartphones and if consumers are good with this AR, there’s really no need to change it. However LG, arguably the maestro in displays, didn’t think so. LG’s New ’Specialist’ Phone Packs A 4,500 mAh Good For 15 Hrs Of Video Playback

Up to today, battery life per charge is still a nagging problem in smartphone. A large screen smartphone can hardly power through weekends, let alone a day without charging. However, LG wants to change that with what the handset maker refer to as “mass-tier” device called LG X power2. LG X power2 is the first mass-tier X series to be unveiled this year. If you recall, the X series was marketed as specialist smartphones when it was first introduced last year, each touting a ‘strong’ feature and this year’s X series is no exception. Speaking of ‘strong’ feature, X power2’s selling point would be its 4,500 mAh battery which, when fully charged, is good for up to 15 hours of video playback, 14 hours of navigational direction, or a whopping 18 hours or so web surfing.
