Movado Outs Connect 2.0 Smartwatch With Latest Qualcomm Chip And 1 GB RAM

Movado Connect 2.0 Smartwatch

When it comes to smartwatch that does not look too geeky and somehow, Fossil’s wide portfolio does not appeal to you and you very much love to have Wear OS powering it, well then, you may want to look to American watchmaker’s new offering, Movado Connect 2.0.

In addition to getting the latest smartwatch chip, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100, Movado Connect 2.0 is among the handful of smartwatches to be backed by 1 GB of RAM.

As far as aesthetic goes, Movado Connect 2.0 is, like its dumb watch counterparts, without doubt in the ‘dress watch’ category. In other words, nothing rugged here that will make you look like you are wearing leggings and dryfit top to a black tie event. If you know what I mean.

Other notables include 8 GB of onboard storage, stainless steel case in a choice of 40 mm and 42 mm case size, quick-release interchangeable straps, 3-button design (a crown plus two programmable buttons), built-in heart rate monitor, built-in GPS, and a rechargeable battery that promised to power you through the day.

Sadly, a day or maybe two is what we have to live with when it comes current smartwatch battery technology.

Movado Connect 2.0 Smartwatch, being a Movado, does not come cheap. Prices start at $495 for one with fabric strap and it can cost as much as $695 for one that is paired to a stainless steel mesh bracelet.

The smartwatch is set to ship on October 14, but if you are so inclined, you can pre-order it as we speak.
