Nestle Toll House Wants You To Eat Cookie Dough Right Out Of The Tub

Nestle Toll House Edible Cookie Dough

Have you ever look at cookie dough and felt the urge to gobble it (the cookie dough) down? If you do, then you are in luck. Nestlé Toll House has just revealed, wait for it, Edible Cookie Dough. I kid you not. It is the delicious smelling cookie dough that tempted you every time your mum or wife or girlfriend bake cookies. OK. TBH, I can’t be sure if Nestlé Toll House Edible Cookie Dough is delicious smelling, but the key take away is, edible cookie dough is real.

This “ready-to-eat treat that allows you to safely indulge right out of the tub” comes in two flavors: Chocolate Chip inspired by the classic Nestlé Toll House recipe, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Monster for those who have a thing for both peanut butter and chocolate chip.

But why Edible Cookie Dough, you ask? Well, according to Nestlé Toll House’s associate brand manager, Christyna Chandler, the brand wants to “bring the experience of eating cookie dough straight from the mixer to consumers in a safe and convenient way.” Wait, are there really a lot of folks want who have this raw desire? Hmmm.

“Made with the same ingredients you use in your mixing bowl at home such as real butter and 100% real chocolate, NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough contains no preservatives, artificial colors or artificial flavors. NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Monster Cookie Dough combines peanut butter, oats, and candy-coated chocolate, and contains no artificial flavors. Edible Cookie Dough dials up the convenience factor, offering a ready-to-eat treat at home or on-the-go. ”

Alas, though, there’s no best of both worlds because, it is not recommended to bake this product. Then again, why would you (bake) it when it is already edible? In any case, Nestlé Toll House said ingredients, such as eggs, are removed from Edible Cookie Dough to make it safe to consume and eggs are essential to baking process. So no eggs, no baking.
