We gave up on writing about Oppo smartwatches for the same reason we stopped writing about Xiaomi smartwatches: there are simply too many of them. But, like the Xiaomi Watch S5 Smartwatch Transparent Edition, we felt compelled to talk about the Oppo Watch X3, specifically the Misty Titanium, which launched in China in March and internationally a month later. The Oppo Watch X3 Misty Titanium proves that TAG Heuer is not the only company capable of making a smartwatch look completely like a luxury timepiece.
The attention-grabber is its 47.4 mm aerospace-grade titanium-alloy case, featuring decorative cuts, exposed rivet-like details, a textured crown, and a silvery finish that would not look out of place behind the glass counter of a serious watch boutique. Sapphire crystal protects the circular 1.5-inch display, which reaches 1,500 nits during ordinary use and up to 3,000 nits in Sports Mode.
Despite its imposing appearance, the Watch X3 weighs just 43 g without its strap and measures 11 mm thick. That makes it 13.4% lighter and 6.3% thinner than the Watch X2. Titanium is doing more here than lending its name to the marketing material.
Inside is Oppo’s Dual-Engine Architecture, pairing a performance chip running Wear OS 6 with an efficiency MCU operating a lightweight RTOS. The watch switches between them depending on the task, allowing its 646 mAh silicon-carbon battery to deliver up to five days of regular use or 16 days in Power Saver Mode.
Wear OS brings Google Maps, Google Wallet, Gmail, Google Home, Find Hub, YouTube Music, and apps from Google Play. Gemini can also answer questions and perform tasks from the wrist, provided you are comfortable talking to a very expensive-looking watch. Android 9.0 or newer is required; iPhones are not supported.
Health and fitness features include more than 100 sports modes, detailed sleep analysis, heart-rate variability-based mind-body assessments, and a 60-second Wellness Overview that checks 10 health indicators. Its ECG function can provide cardiovascular insights in 30 seconds, although availability depends on the country.
The premium appearance has not made it precious. The Watch X3 carries 5ATM, IP68, and IP69 ratings, as well as MIL-STD-810H certification for added durability. Yup. As it turns out, it is also a rugged smartwatch.
The Oppo Watch X3 Misty Titanium launched internationally for €379 (around US$446), with pricing and availability varying by market. No official U.S. release has been announced. It is still a smartwatch filled with sensors, apps, and Google services, but one that may convince people you have abandoned notifications for Swiss mechanical sophistication—until Gemini starts speaking from your wrist.
