OXS Thunder 7.1.2.ch Desktop Gaming Sound System: Is It Too Good To Be True?

OXS Thunder 7.1.2.ch Desktop Gaming Sound System

When it comes to gaming, is a soundbar superior to headphones? It’s a genuine question because I really don’t know. But one thing for sure is that it will be less damaging (to your hearing) than a pair of cans. In any case, if you swear by a soundbar for gaming, then you may want to keep your eyes peeled on the OXS Thunder soundbar.

OXS Thunder is a 7.1.2.ch Desktop Gaming Sound System that has a lot to shout about, starting with being the first soundbar to be offered with a satellite neck speaker to provide surround sound from behind you. It connects to the soundbar with 5.8G ultra-low latency performance.

OXS Audio claims that Thunder is “the world’s first true 7.1.2ch desktop gaming sound system”. With a whopping 10 audio channels, this soundbar will create an audio space with surround sound from 9 directions – with you, right smack in the middle of the action.

With 9 directions, it should be easier for you to decipher where sounds like footsteps, chatters, and shots are coming from, so you’d know where your enemies and allies are.

It boasts a so-called coaxial acoustic architecture, featuring 8 fine-tuned drivers – including 2 up-firing speakers – that are 40% smaller than other 7.1ch soundbars. This allows the soundbar to be compact enough (30 inches/76.2 centimeters) to fit right under a monitor on a desk, and yet remain powerful enough for an immersive gaming experience.

Other notables include support for Dolby Atmos for full and multi-dimensional sound, 3 game modes (tuned for FPS, RAC, and MOBA), reactive lighting, a subwoofer with 4 passive radiators, and easy control with the included remote.

You can sign up to be notified when OXS Thunder 7.1.2.ch Desktop Gaming Sound System will be available. We are half-expecting it to be a crowdfunding campaign since it invites you to sign up to secure “your special offer” which starts at just US$249.
