If the Razer Sneki Snek is a tad too adorable for the virtual rugged you, well, Razer has the perfect, also Razer-themed keycap for you. But the Razer Artisan Keycap Triple-Headed Snake Edition is not just any keycap. The key is in the name: artisan. It is Razer’s first artisan keycap. It features the brand’s iconic triple-headed snake presented as a miniature sculpture.
Each piece begins as a precision 3D model before being cast in resin, individually painted, assembled, sanded, and polished by hand. It then undergoes two rounds of quality control to remove dust, bubbles, and anything else unworthy of sitting beside your mass-produced Escape key. Since no two are exactly alike, every owner gets a slightly different triple-headed snake glaring back at them.
The solid resin construction is designed for everyday typing and should resist chipping, clouding, and fading. It fits cross-stem, or MX-style, switches and can replace any standard single-width key, including letters, numbers, and Escape—the natural choice if you want three snakes guarding your emergency exit.
It is not a shine-through keycap, though, so the RGB lighting underneath will not illuminate the sculpture. The surrounding Chroma lighting will continue glowing, leaving the snake sitting in dramatic darkness like a tiny gaming deity awaiting tribute.
Razer describes ownership as a display of allegiance to the “Cult of Razer.” Thankfully, initiation appears to involve buying a keycap rather than appearing at midnight in a green robe and chanting “For Gamers. By Gamers.”
The Razer Artisan Keycap – Triple-Headed Snake Edition is produced in highly limited quantities and sold exclusively through Razer.com and RazerStores for a mind-bending US$89.99. Yes, one keycap costs only US$30 less than an entire Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic Mini 65% keyboard. At that price, you may want to assign it to a key pressed only on ceremonial occasions.
