ROG Didn’t Stop at a Gold Gaming Mouse. It Also Built This Gorgeous Keyboard.

ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 Gaming Keyboard

It’s 20 years of churning out glorious gaming gear. No one could, in good conscience, celebrate a milestone like that with just one gold-plated product. Naturally, the mouse’s close relative in any gaming setup—the keyboard—also went the golden route.

Meet the ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20, a special anniversary edition of one of ASUS ROG’s flagship mechanical gaming keyboards. Unlike its mouse sibling, which proudly shows off a genuine 24K gold-plated internal frame through a translucent shell, the keyboard wears its gold with a little more restraint. The black-and-gold color scheme is complemented by translucent keycaps, a 24K gold-plated commemorative nameplate, gold accents around the chassis, and a matching control knob. It is luxurious without looking like it belongs in a jewelry display.

Fortunately, the Azoth Extreme Edition 20 isn’t relying on looks alone. It is every bit the flagship keyboard underneath. The 75% layout features a precision-machined aluminum chassis, a carbon-fiber positioning plate, multi-layer dampening, and an adjustable gasket mount that lets users fine-tune the typing feel. Hot-swappable ROG NX Edition 20 mechanical switches mean customization is still very much on the menu.

Like the standard Azoth Extreme, it comes equipped with a 1.47-inch OLED touchscreen, tri-mode connectivity, and support for 8,000 Hz polling with the included ROG Polling Rate Booster. Battery life is rated at up to 1,600 hours in 2.4 GHz SpeedNova wireless mode with RGB and the OLED display turned off, which should keep you typing and gaming long after the novelty of admiring all that gold wears off.

The ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 debuted alongside the rest of the Edition 20 collection at Computex 2026 to celebrate two decades of Republic of Gamers. It carries a retail price of US$599.99 and is available through Best Buy, Newegg, Amazon, and Micro Center. Like the Harpe II Extreme Edition 20, production is limited through the end of 2026, making this one keyboard that may become even harder to get once the party is over.
